Financial Advisor Texas
About what is the total cost of attending a 4-year college?
I’m thinking about going to the University of Texas, about how much will that cost for me to get a Bachelors?
How much did your education/degree cost in all?
Obviously, I know I will need to first speak with an advisor and apply for financial aid and all that, but just thought I’d ask the general public first.
Approximately $20,000-$35,000. But, there’s a lot of determining factors. If you live in or out of state, if you live on or off campus, if you can qualify for a scholarship, how much financial aid you receive, how many credits you take, if there’s extra course fees for you major, how much you’re spending on books for your major. And then if you decide to change majors, you may have to go to college for an extra semester to complete your major. A little bit of advice: I went to a university for 2 semesters and hated my major. I went to community college for a while to decide what to major in. I got all of my history, math, science, and art courses out of the way at community college and paid a third of the price that I would at the university. When I figured out my major and transferred my community college credits to the university, the university gave me a transfer scholarship!
