Is A&M more likely to join the PAC10 along with Texas, OKlahoma, OKState Etc, or the SEC…?

Based on this it sounds more likely the PAC 10 would get us, as I am pretty sure the PAC10 generates more revenue.

“Former Texas A&M football coach R.C. Slocum, who now works as a special advisor to school president Bowen Loftin, said football programs are carrying increased financial burden to support other sports, so they’re drawn to potentially massive TV contracts for more revenue.

“You look at the level of funding that all programs need to have, and it’s a business decision that universities now have to make,” Slocum said.

Slocum said any decision A&M makes will be based purely on its financial impact, and not on more intangible elements, like preserving traditions and rivalries.”

Everything moves with “TEXAS”!! Why is everyone hitting the panic button! So what, you loose Nebraska and Colorado. Well, then the Big 12 should be quick to extend a hand to TCU and Colorado State (for Denver Market) or UofH which has had a good running with the football team in recent years! I’m sure CSU could work a deal with Invesco Field to play their games there and UofH could do the same with Relient like Rice already does when they play Texas. Screw this moving and shaking! The Big 12 can stay in tact and hush all this noise!! Pac 10 doesn’t want a conference championship anyway and The BigTen(11) would have 12 teams now and could finally have the conf. championship and SEC will stay in tact!
