I am starting training for this job. I just wanted to know if there is a need or am I wasting my time.

Since most personal financial advisors buy and sell financial products, such as securities and life insurance and since fees and commissions from the purchase and sale of securities and life insurance plans are one of the major sources of income for most personal financial advisors; the average person has become concerned that the financial adviser advice is biased and in some people minds, the average person might be better off doing their own research.
